Gray

Blending is an unique technique talent, the paints seeming almost stubborn to stay apart. There are many things that blend. Career and passion, friendship and romance, charm and manipulation, and of course black and white to grey. The grey areas are the most important. You must pay attention to them, the most attention out of your artwork. If you aren’t careful, things might blend where you don’t want them to. The area growing so big, that you can’t see past. All you can see is gray.

Spices run through the house 

Like blood through veins

The kind only I am fond of 

So does pop music

I am fond of too

Mumbling the prayers

Recited all around me 

Sunday mornings 

wouldn’t be complete

Without declarations of the gym

and the clanking of dishes 

being put away
